The Turkey and Cranberry Panini

The Turkey and Cranberry Panini is a delightful sandwich that combines the savory goodness of roasted turkey with the sweet and tangy flavors of cranberry sauce and melted cheese, all pressed between slices of crispy bread. Ingredients
  

  • 8 slices of rustic bread such as ciabatta or sourdough
  • 1/2 lb sliced roasted turkey breast
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 8 slices of Swiss or provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter softened

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Panini Press: Preheat your panini press according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Assemble the Sandwiches: Lay out 4 slices of bread on a clean work surface. Spread a layer of cranberry sauce on each slice of bread. Top each slice with 2 slices of turkey and 2 slices of cheese. Place the remaining 4 slices of bread on top to form sandwiches.
  • Butter the Bread: Spread a thin layer of softened butter on the outsides of each sandwich.
  • Grill the Panini: Place the sandwiches on the preheated panini press and close the lid. Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and crispy, and the cheese is melted.
  • Slice and Serve: Use a sharp knife to slice each panini in half diagonally. Serve immediately while warm.
