The Caprese Sandwich
Ingredients
- 4 slices of crusty bread such as ciabatta or sourdough
- 2 large ripe tomatoes sliced
- 8 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese sliced
- Fresh basil leaves
- Balsamic glaze for drizzling
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the Ingredients: Slice the tomatoes and mozzarella cheese into evenly sized slices. Wash and dry the fresh basil leaves.
